Workshop Details and information:
This workshop includes a drink from our local artisanal cafe which you can order upon arriving!
The exact location that our workshop will take place will be emailed to you.
In this workshop you will be guided through the art of candle-making in containers using soy wax and fragrance oils:
- You will create 1 large candle in a beautiful jar of your choice.
- The workshop will take place in both English and Greek language ( if for any case there is demand for only one language, then it will only take place in that).
- Guiding sheet will be provided that includes everything we are going to learn during our workshop, such as temperatures, measurements dos and don’ts, where you can take notes on.
- During the workshop, you will have your individual equipment provided for, that you will use during the workshop, such as scale, thermometer, apron, gloves, mask, measuring jug, stirring sticks, etc.
-Variety of 20+ fragrance oils to choose from:
We will go through the aromas and give you a brief explanation of the different types of fragrances and help you discover your type.
Options include seasonal fragrances (eg. pumpkin spice, woody spice, chocolate, etc.)
- Variety of wicking methods:
We will explore the different wicking methods and how to wick our jars. Then you will decide which is best for you and your space. Variety of different wicks such as wood wicks and cotton wicks.
- Decoration: Options of dried flowers, colours, glitter, and wax melts, shells:
Different options of candle decorations will be provided and according to your style you can let your artistic side handle the rest of the process!
Seasonal wax melts will be prepared in advance such us pumpkins, autumn leaves and other seasonal shapes.
-You will learn the essentials about soy wax and other waxes, we will proceed to prepare the wicks and weight your scents from our selection of fragrance oils. We will then proceed to weight the wax needed for each candle, mix them and pour in the vessels.
While we wait for the candles to cure/dry, we will have time for chatting & socializing.
Also at this time you can ask me any questions you might have.
Then we will proceed with decorating the candles or fix the tops (if needed).

- All material & equipment is provided
- 2.5 - 3 hours session (with 1 small break).
Refunds/Exchanges & Terms
Workshops are not refundable. Workshops are only exchangeable with another available date. Exchanges can take place only if we are informed 7 days before the workshop date that you have booked. Note: You are advised to wear comfortable clothing & ideally something that you don't mind staining. Please be aware that colours cannot be removed easily from clothing and shoes. Gloves & masks will be provided during the event.
By booking this workshop you confirm that you understand and agree with the following:
- You acknowledge that you will come into contact with chemicals, and fumes and we do not have any responsibility for any issue this may cause. Chemicals (eg. Fragrance oils, wax colours, soy wax and decorations) are only meant to be used in the candle and must not come into contact with your mouth, eyes, face or body or swallowed. Mask, gloves, and apron are provided for during the workshop and it is your responsibility to use them.
- You confirm that you do not have any health problem that will be affected from the candle-making process. You confirm that you have aligned with your doctor and that they have approved your attendance to this workshop. You agree that it is not our responsibility and that all the information have been provided before making this booking.
- You acknowledge the fact that you will come in contact with high heat (melted wax, hot water, electric hob) and it’s your responsibility to be careful from getting burned. Our company is providing all the necessary equipment to avoid any accident (eg. Heat protecting gloves and apron), but extra care needs to be taken by participants.
- You acknowledge that the booking is solely for you and nobody else is allowed to join the workshop and/or accompany you to the venue such as your child, spouse, or friend without booking a place.
- Children under the age of 14 are strictly prohibited from joining the workshop or coming to the venue during the workshop due to the dangers they could encounter.
- You agree to come to the venue at least 10 minutes before the allocated time of the workshop and that being late for more than 10 minutes of the start time might result in denied access to the workshop and losing your spot. You also acknowledge that the workshop will start on time. This is because the process needs to start on time and people who are late will not be able to follow up on the process.
- In case you book this workshop for a friend, you confirm to inform them of all of the above.
